Retrospective

What is Retrospective ?

A retrospective is a meeting that occurs after a product has been released to review what occurred throughout the product development and release, with the purpose of improving things in future based on those learnings. A retrospective requires the whole team to stop and reflect on what happened, as well as debate what worked and what didn’t during a certain project. The meeting structure is critical to a successful retrospective since the value is derived through interaction. To be productive and informative, the meeting should be seen as a safe area for bringing up sensitive matters and opposing viewpoints.
