Acceptance criteria are a collection of specified requirements that must be completed in order for a user experience to be considered complete. Acceptance criteria are sometimes known as the “definition of done” since they define the scope and requirements that developers must meet in order to consider the user narrative completed. It is customary for the Product Manager to draught the Acceptance Criteria. A key part of the Acceptance Criteria is having a complete awareness of the user’s demands, which is what Product Managers are in charge of, thus it’s great for them to develop it.
