It’s the stage when all of the operations required to make the solution available for purchase to the general public are well underway. Production release is another name for this stage.
Products that make it to general availability have gone through various stages before being approved for public usage. They have been shown to be usable and trustworthy. GA signifies the completion of all relevant commercialization activities, including security and compliance tests.
