Product Development Cycle

Meaning & Definition

In the product development cycle, the process of bringing a product from conception through market release and beyond. This cycle incorporates a number of divisions within a corporation, including product managers, developers, designers, quality assurance testers, and other personnel. There are many steps involved, such as recognizing a market need, investigating the competition, coming up with a solution, creating a product roadmap, and constructing a minimal viable product (MVP). This aids in better organizing the process and breaking down specific deliverables into smaller, more manageable steps.
